A LONG HISTORY OF PASSION AND TRADITION

OUR ROOTS

are deeply rooted in our territory, Parma, in the heart of Italy’s Food Valley. The agricultural identity of“farmer know-how” is strong here due to the long tradition and agribusiness vocation. It was in the Parma countryside that our business started in 1923, processing the bountiful fruit of the Emilian lands: the tomato.

THE CULTIVATION PROGRAMS

are drafted by our agronomists together with our farmers every year in February. Soils are identified and the most pulpy and flavour-rich varieties are selected for most pulpy and flavour-rich. The characteristics of the clay soil and climate of these areas combine with agronomic cultivation techniques, emphasizing the qualitative aspects of the raw material.

WE ENHANCE THE RAW MATERIAL OF THE TERRITORY

with the DOLCEMILIO supply chain project, developed to obtain superior quality products of 100% Emilian origin recognized nationally and internationally.

Our agronomists together with our farmers selected the most suitable varieties and soil and climate growing areas, agreeing on cultivation and processing techniques.

We selected an elongated tomato cultivar with a particular sweetness by identifying a cultivation area bounded between the provinces of Parma, Modena and Ferrara.

WE RESPECT NATURE

its rhythms and seasons, which is why we start harvesting our tomatoes only when they have reached the right degree of ripeness. Our “tomato crop” that is, the harvesting and processing period, takes place in midsummer from late July to early September.

WE NEVER STOP

we are organized to receive and process crops 24 hours a day, determined to achieve the same goal each year: the high quality of PRONTOFRESCO Pulps and Sauces.

QUALITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUR STRENGHT

We process our tomatoes within 12 hours from harvesting in the field. Only after careful evaluation of the quality of the crop, if the parameters fall within the strict Greek quality standards, the tomato can enter the production processes.

The use of the latest selection and production control latest enables us to guarantee the highest quality while preserving the authenticity and flavour of the raw material.
